WHAT WILL I LEARN?
- To identify interrelationships and patterns in ecological communities
- An understanding of genetic variation and genetic expression
- How to carry out a practical investigation
- An understanding of life processes at the cellular level
HOW IS THE COURSE ASSESSED?
5 Level 2 Achievement Standards – 20 credits
2 internally assessed Achievement Standards make up 8 credits
3 externally assessed Achievement Standards make up 12 credits

Level 1 Science with consistent Achievement or at least one Merit

WHAT ARE THE COURSE COSTS?
Workbooks will be provided as a textbook, but must be returned in excellent condition at the end of the year. Students may opt to purchase a copy if they wish to write in it. The cost is approximately $25 for the course workbook.
